Art and Design, exploration and experimentation with a variety of mediums (eg paint, print, ceramics, woodwork, metalwork etc) as a basis for further study, work or artistic endeavour. Will appeal to people wanting to work in a variety of fields such as art therapy, set design, portrait work, jewellery making etc or artists wishing to expand their experience and expertise.

What You’ll Learn

Course Structure

This course is for 1 Year, and aims to give you experience of many aspects of art and design (eg drawing, painting, printing, ceramics etc) and will prepare you for further study/experience in the field ie employment or education. Typically, you would be in College enjoying practical experience and receiving guidance re all things art and design two days/week (or its equivalent eg an evening in addition there will be some self-study such as artist research and evaluation.
