Graphic Design Lecturer
‘I’m an award-winning graphic designer, creative director, author, and dedicated educator with over 25 years of industry experience and a passion for nurturing creative talent.
Throughout my career, I’ve led multidisciplinary design teams across four continents and delivered innovative projects for clients such as Virgin Atlantic, the London Science Museum, Guinness, and Hugo Boss. My expertise spans print, interactive media, web design, visual effects, 3D visualisation, and motion graphics. I founded Creative Frontiers, a mentoring business that has supported thousands of designers across 260 countries, helping enhance the creative capabilities of companies including Microsoft, Burberry, and Walmart.
In education, I serve as a Graphic Design Lecturer at The Sheffield College and as an Associate Lecturer at The University of Sheffield. I hold a BA in Graphic Design from Leeds Beckett University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Falmouth University, and professional certifications in Creative Thinking from King’s College London and the Dyson School of Design. I’m also an Adobe Master Instructor, with over forty Adobe Expert Certifications in applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Alongside teaching and industry practice, I’m a published author, best known for the Mastering Adobe Photoshop series, and a regular contributor to design platforms like Creative Boom. I also host Shaped by Design, a growing YouTube channel dedicated to creative insight, inspiration, and skill development’.
