Dave Ellis / Animated & Video Content Production / Co-Founder at Everything’s Fine
Dave Ellis is a highly experienced designer with a strong background in branding, digital design, and motion-led creative work, developed over more than 20 years in the creative industries. Early in his career, Dave built his reputation through NoVolume, his design practice which he ran for over 15 years. Through NoVolume, he delivered branding, web, and digital design projects for a wide range of clients, establishing a reputation for bold visual thinking and strong conceptual ideas.
Dave’s career spans a mixture of freelance, agency, and leadership roles, including senior design positions such as Creative Director and Partner and Marketing Director, where he combined hands-on design with strategic brand thinking. His work has covered branding, UX/UI, content creation and digital communications across multiple sectors.
In 2021, Dave co-founded Everything’s Fine, a design and motion studio specialising in animated content – from explainer videos and social media animations to app demos and advertising content. This move reflects his continued evolution as a designer, combining storytelling, branding and motion to help brands communicate more effectively in digital spaces.
Dave studied Design Communications at The Sheffield College and Illustration at Leeds Arts University, foundations that continue to inform his visually distinctive and idea-led approach to design.
