Our HND is a full time two year course awarded by the University of Lincoln. It is designed for students interested in a career in business and management.
This course prepares you to pursue a career related to business. It aims to teach the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively contribute to an organisation from day one.
You can gain knowledge and understanding of how organisations become successful through a range of functions (Strategy, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and Finance) as well as an understanding of the wider national and international environment in which organisations operate.
The course aims to accomplishes this by applying various models and theories to different business scenarios. Students will manage complex projects and develop intellectual skills to solve problems independently and critically assess issues faced by organisations. Ultimately, the aim is to develop the skills that organisations value to improve your employment potential.
There are a wide range of careers available to business graduates and students are encouraged to consider what kinds of roles will interest them. Additionally, further specialised study can enhance your employability as well as topping up your HND by adding an extra year to complete a BA in Busines Management.
