Delivery will be day release over two years.

Unit structure:

Core Mandatory Unit 1: Construction Design Project (Pearson-set)

Core Mandatory Unit 4: The Construction Environment

Core Mandatory Unit 10: Measurement & Estimating

Core Mandatory Unit 12: Tender & Procurement

Core Mandatory Unit 23: Construction Economics & Sustainability

Core Mandatory Unit 25: Quantity Surveying Practice

Core Mandatory Unit 26: Digital Applications for Building Information Modelling

Core Mandatory Unit 27: Law & Legal Frameworks in Quantity Surveying

There are 3 elements to the assessment and will take place over a typical period of 6 months once the apprentice as gone through gateway. The 3 elements are:

Assessment 1:  Online test

Assessment 2: Project

Assessment 3: Professional discussion

Individual employers will determine their own entry requirements, but the typical entry requirements for this Apprenticeship will be five GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths, English and a Science; or a Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Successful completion of the apprentice can lead to progression onto Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying for England. Or alternatively progression to a Degree Apprenticeship
